SUPER HERO SQUAD - "Night In The Sanctorum" Airs Again

If you, or your child, still have not seen it, my first episode of SUPER HERO SQUAD, "Night in the Sanctorum" airs tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM (EST) on Cartoon Network. It features the Punisher, Dr. Strange, Baron Mordo and the Enchantress among its many guest characters.

Night in the Sanctorum is on our Cartoon Network On Demand Channel! We can watch it all of the time.

So, how in the world do you write an episode for a show about Super Heroes that are shuffling between 11 years old and 25?

I just worked from their personalities and went from there.

For the non-established characters I thought about who they were in the comic books, and how they'd fit into the show. The Punisher is pretty scary and unbalanced, and I somehow went to the boat ride in "Willie Wonka" and used Gene Wilder's "There's no earthly way of knowing..." bit as a start.

It's like any other situational comedy. The characters themselves aren't what's funny, it's the context you use them in that's funny.
